These terms are an agreement between you and Ritesh Relwani, an individual based in India ("we", "us"), who runs ViralWise. They apply to the ViralWise website, Chrome extension, web app at app.viralwise.app, API and AI-assistant connector (together, "the service"). By using the service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. The service
ViralWise shows which Instagram Reels perform better than a creator's usual views, and why. The extension works only on a creator's Reels tab (instagram.com/<handle>/reels/) in Chrome on a desktop or laptop computer. You sign in with a Google account. Features include the Wise Score and virality score, creator reports, transcripts, AI insights, collections, sharing, exports and, on some plans, connecting AI assistants.
We may change, add or remove features. We'll tell you before we remove something you pay for.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old. By agreeing you confirm that you are. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure.
3. Your Instagram account
- You use the extension while signed in to your own Instagram account, in your own browser. You act on your own behalf and are responsible for complying with Instagram's terms.
- The extension reads only public Reels data that Instagram has already loaded on the page, at a human pace, stops if Instagram pushes back, and has a daily cap per Instagram account. These measures reduce risk but cannot remove it. We are not responsible for actions Instagram takes on your account.
- We never ask for your Instagram password and never post, like, follow or message on your behalf.
4. The shared catalogue
Public data that users collect (public profile and reel details, metrics, captions, thumbnails and transcripts of public reels) is stored in a shared catalogue and may be shown to other users, for example as scores and "transcript available" markers. Your private library, notes and scans are never shown to other users. The Privacy Policy explains this in detail.
5. Plans, credits and limits
- Plans, prices and limits are listed on the pricing page. There are no free trials.
- Credits pay for new transcriptions and some AI features. Credits have no cash value, reset each month and don't roll over. Failed transcriptions are refunded in credits.
- We may adjust limits for fair use and to protect the service. We change prices only with advance notice to subscribers, and a new price applies from your next renewal.
6. Payments
- Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, which handles billing and applicable taxes. Their terms also apply to your purchase. We never see your full card details.
- Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Billing in the app; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds follow our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download our service, or access it by automated means other than the extension and the official connector;
- resell, sublicense or publish our data or reports as your own dataset;
- use the service to harass, stalk, impersonate or harm anyone, or to target private individuals;
- get around plan limits, share accounts, or create accounts to abuse referrals or free plans;
- interfere with, probe or reverse-engineer the service, except where the law allows it;
- break any law, or Instagram's or Google's terms, using the service.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
8. Collections and share links
You can share collections and reports privately, with specific people, or by link. You are responsible for what you share and who you share it with; anyone with a link can open it. We may take down collections or links that break these terms or that a creator has asked us to remove.
9. Creator removal
Creators can ask us to hide their profile, stop collecting it, or delete its data at Remove my profile. We verify the request and then apply it across the service.
10. AI apps and AI output
On plans that include it, you can connect AI assistants (such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor). They act only on your account, within your plan's limits, and you can disconnect them at any time. Transcripts, insights and AI answers are generated automatically and can be wrong; check anything important before relying on it.
11. Our content and your content
The service, its software, design and brand belong to us. Content on Instagram belongs to its owners; we don't claim it. You keep ownership of the notes and collections you create and give us permission to store and display them to run the service.
12. No affiliation
ViralWise is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Instagram, Meta, Google or any AI provider. Their names are used only to describe compatibility.
13. Ending your use
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time in Settings (a running paid plan must be cancelled first). We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we shut down the service, in which case we'll give reasonable notice and refund unused prepaid time where fair.
14. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is". We don't promise that any reel will perform well, that data is complete or error-free, or that the service will always be available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, or for actions taken by Instagram or other third parties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have as a consumer where you live. Please contact us first; most issues can be solved by email.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
